--> I went to Albuquerque. It was awesome. I took a lot of dumb macro photos and picture of babies and stuff (http://www.flickr.com/photos/successless/sets/72157600509269273/). I ate food that was comprised almost exclusively of cheese, tortillas, eggs, and green chile. I also sweated my ass off and tanned my pale, skinny little legs. Then I got stuck in Arizona because US Airways is apparently run by idiots and the mechanically inept. I sweated more and drank free beer at an overpriced hotel paid for by the incompetent airline.

And now I'm back in Seattle. This has been a non-music related blog. We now return you to your regularly scheduled beatslicing tips.

whoa to crazy mexican muerto art

woo hoo! I lived in New Mexico as a kid. It was in a lil' place called Jemez Springs northwest of Albq. and Santa Fe. Awesome place to find hippies and rednecks getting naked together in warm springs.

Oh man, I love all the little muerto figurines. The shops in Old Town Albuquerque are full of them. They had a whole wall devoted to little tiny Frida Kahlo skeletons in one of the shops. If I'd had more spending money on this trip, I'd have bought tons of them.

Hey man... Haven't been by here in a while. Really liking the new tunes.

Incidentally, I lived in Albuquerque for a year; studying. Was the most hectic year of my life.
Not sure if I could ever go back but glad I went. Happy to see you went to The Frontier! Good eating.
