--> welcome to ameriblog number two!

i checked out the seattle art museum, which was killer. they had an installation by Cai Guo-Qiang titled "Inopportune: Stage One" which consisted of 9 indentical white 1989 ford tauruses adorned with flashing neon lights as individual frames of a film depicting a car flipping over.
i also visited the SAM's sculpture park, which featured "Wake" by Richard Serra, who is one of my favorite sculptors.

then i hopped on the bus up to vancouver. vancouver seems to be an international travel destination for backpackers because downtown has like 35 hostels. i chose one located above a pub. next morning i went to the Vancouver Art Gallery and a big park with totem poles.

you stay at the cambie hostel in vancouver?? that place is crazy. big party. i stayed there once. it was fun. i was hung over for a week though.

Hey, I love your photographs, you have a great talent of capturing simple scenes.

Take a trip to vancouver island while you're there, even better the gulf islands, do some hitchhiking or biking... a great place.
