wow. i just clicked on this thinking 'ooh, i wonder who else is going to ATP'...then i realised i had started the blog last night.......was i that drunk?

I am tempted, though i'm not familiar with most of the artists, which was the same at the ATP curated by the dirty 3 that i went to earlier this year and most of these bands were quite frankly a bit smelly!

For my liking this is an amazing line-up...but of course it's all down to what you are into. Reasonable amount of droney durge stuff in the line-up...if that helps at all??

I like droney music, even make it myself, but find a lot of Guitar Droney stuff incredibly boring and downright shit.

I saw Asva a few years ago (Trey from Mr Bungle, plus guys from Burning Witch, Earth, and SUNN 0)))), it was painfully boring.

DOWWWWWWWWWWWW...(5 mins pass) BHWOOOOOOOOO...(5 mins pass)....DOWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!
I'll see if i can download some of the unknown stuff

ah, i say if you didn't like a band with members like that, some of what i like in the line-up might not be your bag. i like your description of it...sums it up nicely. to me the trick is to go with it, instead of letting it bore / frustrate you. and i aint one of the dog on a string brigade - far far from it

YES!

I knew I wanted to go just to see AFX, Portishead and Earth.
But Boris... I'd wanted to see them for ages (and I finally did on Monday).
I would love to see them again.

Just noticed - A Hawk and a Hacksaw!

Oh my goodness, I'm there.

wow tenine...i think we must be joined at the head - those are the tip-top highlghts for me too. i had already planned to go, based on AFX, Portishead and Earth (never seen Earth live), then, when Boris and A Hawk and a Hacksaw (never seen either live) were added I came very close to whipping my john out and bashing it furiously.....................looking forward to december!

It's gonna be ace. I haven't seen Earth, Portishead or AFX before.
I've seen A Hawk and a Hacksaw before (maybe twice, I forget now).

I didn't notice that Om were playing either! (Never seen them).
Crippled black Phoenix too (never seen them, don't know much about them other than the Mogwai link, but I've heard a bit and quite liked it).
I'm glad I didn't buy tickets for Capsule Supersonic now, this has a similar line up, but better.
Imagine if Sunn O))) were confirmed too! Or maybe Fantomas!

Fantomassssssss! that would be splen-fucking-did! no reply to my email recommending The Necks - of coures

I think Deerhoof would be great to see on the bill too. So, have you got your ticket?

Not yet, but I have 3 friends who I think are very interested.
A chalet of 4 is best I think.
