--> welcome to Ameriblog #3 !

you can check out the final batch of photos from the journey here link

after leaving Vancouver where i hung out with frnortnr, I enjoyed a nice 6 HOUR LAYOVER in seattle. no worries though, I walked down to the market and found a really cool little bookstore (its across the street from the market, check it out mixtedtape)

i spent the next few days on the bus going through washington, idaho, montana, north dakota, minnesota, and arrived in milawukee, wisconsin where i met up with hecanjog. we went to this amazingly huge bookstore and the cactus club for some low budget 60s grindhouse horror films and cheap beers. be on the lookout for some luvsound action.

once again,thanks to strangus, mixedtape, frnortnr, and hecanjog for showing me a good time in your cities. also, youre welcome for not stealing your gear while you were sleeping.

glad you're home safe and sound, and hope you come back someday!

you may not have stolen my gear, but you stole my innocence!

oh i should change that, since i dont live there anymore. nutley is in northern new jersey, in essex county. its adjacent to montclair, if youve ever heard of montclair state university. its about... 12 miles from nyc. so, 2 hr drive to phili. 1.5 if you speed

grindhouse mondays are one of milwaukee's highlights. nice work showing off our city, erik.

yeah, I'm about an hour from Philly.

After working at Powells, the sight of giant unorganized bookstoares with random piles of books makes me cringe.

But, then, I had to fill out lots of internet orders all the time.

why is it that milwaukee always sounds like the coolest town?

because you live in Tennessee?

hahah. no its because of Violent Femmes

milwaukee is cool. cheap rent and cheap booze.
