Electronic Music 411

Once I became around 24 I started to stop and smell the roses... it's been nice, getting instruments that I would have never thought of having before. Simple is great... Innovation is pointless at the moment because the "new" music of the past 10 years haven't proven to be better in anyway. And then file sharing and the internet didn't help either... music just doesn't seem to mean as much to people anymore, despite what some might say.

I think people have to stop thinking about people when they make music. Music feels too flirty at the moment ... does that make any sense?

um ... because all the genre's now are just slight variations of what was there before.. with no real scene.

pop punk didn't sound like old punk... but "emo" is just a slight variation.
90's techno doesn't sound like pure old drum machine 80's dance ... but schranz was just a watered down version..
should I keep going???
