It sounds pretty dumb that she got arrested for overdue books.
Why does she have a kid though when she can't even afford to get car insurance? Like most of the 'mom's' I see around in this smaller rural town I live at are pretty dumb. I used to see in the light of, oh people need to have a chance to live and such but they're literally destroying the world and the comfort of life for everyone else. That mom's around here with pregnant bellies are usually ignorant and uneducated getting knocked up by someone of the same caliber of intelligence, who usually winds up leaving the mom single with minimal child support. The child grows up lacking structure and winds up getting knocked up too with another seed.
I'm pro-life, but pro-intelligent life. And once the world finally takes care of it's existing problems, such as, dirty and inefficient energy solutions, war, and political BS, pollution (even Mexico City's shit is starting to flow over to florida through the jet stream making our beaches less fresh), then we can have dumb people multiplying and living in a clean world.
But I don't know, perhaps what people want is a world that consists of dumb people, excessive heat and smog, poor nutrition due to the fact of the growing expense/demand for quality food, and an abundance of unprotected sex and babies.

I really have no clue what to think. I look at myself and I'm probably a waste on the earth too. But I think I'm doing better for the world than a pregnant mom. I softly drive for efficiency a nissan sentra averaging 38mpg, commute a total of just 40 miles a week for work, and search for ways to be energy efficient in the devices I use and personal habits.
Billy Souf driving his F-350 jacked up 10ft in the air with friction dragging mud tires probably consumes more energy one way on the drive to work than I do in an entire week.

thats the most reactionary bull I've heard in a long while
just some of the most offensive points;
>why have a child? because it's a human right
>that ignorant people have ignorant children is not fate (unless ofcourse theres no budget for education, only for war)
>"Im pro life, but..." there is no but (btw pro choice is pro life in my book)
>if you think pollution is because of poor people, not the rich, you live in a different world than me
>poor nutrition is not the result of overdemand; that would mean shortage
poor nutrition is overprocessed food, again, because 'industry', not 'poverty'

Let me tell you something, funny boy... You know that little stamp? The one that says New York Public Library? Well, that may not mean anything to you, but that means a lot to me. One whole helluva lot. Sure, go ahead, laugh if you want to. I've seen your type before -- flashy, making the scene, flaunting convention. Yeah, I know what you're thinking... Why's this guy making such a big stink about old library books? Let me give you a hint, junior. Maybe we can live without libraries, people like you and me.... Maybe. Sure, we're too old to change the world. What about that kid, sitting down, opening a book right now in a branch of the local library and finding pictures of pee-pees and wee-wees in The Cat in the Hat and The Five Chinese Brothers. Doesn't he deserve better? Look, if you think this is about overdue fines and missing books, you'd better think again. This is about that kid's right to read a book without getting his mind warped. Or maybe that turns you on... Maybe that's how you get your kicks... You and your goodtime buddies... I've got a flash for you, joy boy. Partytime is over.

You know I can't say I disagree with this part, although it's not the whole problem, it is a result of the much larger problem.
The industry wants this though, the kid and mom will borh be perfect walmart employees. As long as they don't take my hours, I'm trying to get health insurance over here! jk
