After a balls up with my bank(their fault), getting plane tickets was a pain but its sorted now. phew.
That left me with hardly any time to sort my set out.... cos i havn't been able to buy live(no money since the 2nd july)...i sorted that out yesterday and i'm working on it now.... it is sounding supprisingly good :P
I'm travelling on my own this time and im not exactly the most organised person. So i'm wondering how, where and when i can meet everybody, sleep, shower, stash my gear, work some more on my set etc etc etc etc.... believe it or not this stuff didn't cross my mind till a few hours ago. (as i said - disorganised)
My flight lands in stuttgart on thursday at 14.10. then i'll get a bus/train/donkey/whatever to heidelberg .... but then im stuck!
WTF are you guys doing/staying/etc? and when will you be in heidelberg?
if i know this info maybe i can form some kind of a plan. :D

i know steven moriarty gets to heidelberg sometime on thursday, not sure about the others though.. I'm hoping to arrive sometime around 2 pm on the friday, will give you a call when I'm there if you're not at the venue yet. speaking of which, drop me a mail with your cell #!

soft, I think if you can manage to get down to karlsruhe from frankfurt, I can give you a place to sleep and a shower for thursday night. I think mark will stay at my place, but we have this hacker computer club with sofas and stuff which is quite chilly. I'm emmailing you my cell number.

I think I'm on level with soft in things disorganised. I had a gig yesterday, and it wasn't until 3am i noticed i had no way to get back home, with all my gear. Lol, thankfully a friend was there with a car, but else I would have been screwed.

yo. I'm flying tonight, staying over night in Frankfurt, hopefully get to Heidelberg from around lunchtime tomorrow (Thursday). Got a room booked at the Ibis hotel (next to the train station) on the Thursday night. Then hopefully stay at the venue Fri/Sat!
So It'd be good to meet up on the Thursday/Friday? I'll mail you guys my mobile numbers.
I was wondering, will we have to be at the venue for a certain time, will there be soundchecks etc?

fair play kris - i've had a shitter of a week, had to move into a b&b a few days earlier than expected due to a psychotic landlady who's not return my deposit (so far) and my brakes failed in the wet last friday which was scary as fuck, cost 350 to get it sorted which has left me broke, will blog about it and other stuff later but it's not looking good for me getting over there.

moriarty: I'll be at the venue around 2 or 3 pm on the friday, they'll setup the PA around 4 pm, I told them we'd do soundchecks around 5 pm - but since you're playing inside that's a different bag anyways.. should be possible anytime really, we'll suss it out when we're there - or do you have extensive plans for touristy stuff on the friday already?

Manuel that sounds great as i'm actually flying to Stuttgart which is only about 40 miles away! so i'll get a train/bus or something to Karlsruhe and probably arrive there around tea time. i'm on a pretty tight budget this time as i'm travelling to Berlin for a week or so after STFU...so hacker computer club sounds just great !!!

That sounds good to me. It'd be good to maybe head to the venue around mid-afternoon and dump our stuff. Yeh, wanting to a bit of touristy stuff, but nothing definite, so can just fit in to whatever the schedule is.
