i liked the old mixit time frame.
it suited me cos i have to share this computer with my flat mate.
also irc is hard for me to figure out.

monty: i'm open for ideas on organized time frames. so one week quixits, and 90 minute quixits can both work. and we can have a web interface to do it. but for 90 minutes being in the chat room works really well for a lot of ppl, myself included. irc is a stable of the one hour compo, and it's really part of the charm.

i'd like u or anyone to come by, and it's not difficult. it's just archaic. simply download the chatzilla firefox extension, or any other irc client, and type /server irc.esper.net and then /join #em411

but anyway, a cms with comments on a web host would work well for both 90 minute and weekly quixits, etc yada yada the mixit could be incorporated there too and imporved upon
