--> So I just moved to Seattle last week and don't really know many folks up here. I came from Tucson where I was having a pretty happy time doing my ableton dj thing at some fun weekly hipster dance nights. I was wondering if anyone here can recommend some Seattle venues that I might go about trying to play at, or even better if anyone might have a slot I could play. I'm not really looking for fame or fortune, I just love to play live. Also if anyone wants to just nerd out or trade music, etc. give me a shout.

By the way, rain in the latter half of July is exceedingly rare here. Rain for a solid week in the latter half of July is quite possibly unprecedented.

But if you like plants as much as I do, then rain isn't so bad. And if you came from Tuscon, you probably have already experienced a lifetime of sun and heat.
