i was banned for saying 'people should be able to talk about rape wihtout getting banned.'
I can understand the tubgirl thing cuz that's not really important, but rape is a serious issue and banning the word doesn't improve the site.
edit: i don't want a hate-a-thon on the ghost admin,s but this banning business is just a plain nuisance and doesn't serve anyone's interest (unless there's some legal protection afforded to admin by banning these words, which would be much more terrible but at least understandable). | |

Third.
I'm not sure I understand why this word is banned. I feel like the inappropriate conversations and jokes are generated more because of the lack of a clear presentation/explanation of the rules rather than any one specific example of censorship. I think people's surprise->irritation->making jokes->people who have real-world experience regarding this issue being hurt/offended.

we could use the word "grape" instead, or even "scrape"(which is sometimes done after a grape.)
a "quickie" might also suffice, altho i admit that grape is not funny and should not be joked about.

who cares? like i'm sure lots of you avoid other words, why not just add one more to the list? is it really necessary to use when describing your live setup? yes, i believe in freedom of speech, but it's really not worth having our front page dominated by it, given that it has NOTHING to do with electronic music.
