--> a while ago i wrote up a tutorial of how to back up your data from a boss dr-202. i started using this drum machine on a constant basis about a year ago and wrote this tutorial about 6 months ago (badd speeling and alll.) I used the drum machine in conjunction with some other hardware and released an EP on 8bitpeoples entitled "uber l33t n00b br34k5" wherein the song "net" i say a simple line talking about em411. (lyric:whether slashdot or em411, we are in the know son!). i just though you should all know if you are interested due to the fact that em411 has been an interesting resource for me and really one of the only forum type sites i use on a constant basis. in a way the tutorial i amde was a way to "give back" so to say. if you want to hear the song you can download it from 8bitpeoples here link enjoy! and log onto the irc chat every once in a while why dont cha?

very cool

you may have a slightly more reverential view of your dr202 than me, but....
you know, you can circuit bend those. and they sound WACKY. hehe

I find the dr-202 pretty funny, it was the first inanimate machine I seriously lusted after. At this time I was obsessed Digital Hardcore Recordings and thought I needed it to for the "d n' b" sounds. I couldn't really afford it as a teen, and I used to squabble with a drummer friend (who hated it) about how drum machines actually have a soul. I thought Dr. Groove would make me fell alright.

Ah... back in the daze.

Oh and big up EM411 massive...

I still want one tho...

I <3 mr spastic!

"don't even think about, takin me out, in mario kart..."

i bought one used only to find that the batteries leaked all over it and it was dead.

fucking waste of 40$
