I was on splice. I was sooo looking forward to this new version, but it's turned out to be a MAJOR disappointment. The new sequencer is stuck at 100% CPU even with an entirely empty track. It's simply just SLOW AS FUCK, I guess in their rush to get it out the door (several weeks late) they didn't bother with optimisation, and hoped everyone would rush out and buy a new computer instead. Hey,if that strategy works for microsoft..

really... I didn't notice that, but I did get some latency issues when playing with one of the remixes, but I blamed it on all the samples and my shoddy bandwidth. thanks for the heads up, though... something to keep an eye on.

You probably have a faster computer than me. I expect they'll be working on its performance in the near future, but for now it's impossible for me to use. As you said tho, something to keep an eye on. They have a very cosy small-community atmosphere.
