1. i released an ep by an artist called Grounded Circle on memoryformat and the tracks are really great! i recommend you to get the zip and listen to it, it's really worth your time. he's one of the artists that get very little exposure despite being very talented. here's the link to the music.
2. influenced by 1 and a workshop i attended recently on how to run an independent label succesfully, i decided to work on improving my netlabel. i think i'll be able promote the netlabel's artists better if i adopt some of the commercial label tactics, like sending out promos, one-sheets, get professional mastering etc. also, i'll focus more on the human factor, organize events and meet people who are interested in our stuff. at the moment i'm learning php and re-designing the website.
3. i quit my day job, went on vacation, moved to my grandparents' place in a small village near the sea and i'm doing some freelance web design to pay the bills. i'll probably stay here for some time and i'm thinking about moving out of my place as soon as i get my degree, since life conditions keep getting worse in athens and greece in general. the biggest forest in athens was completely burnt down to ashes. scientists say that temperatures will be ~5 degrees higher from now on (last week the temperature was 46 celsius in the shade). an old friend i grew up together with is here as well and to my surprise has taken on rapping, we started jamming and it's been real fun! no mic or proper sound card though so no samples or stfu, so i'll stfu 
5. before i left i finally took some time to dive into the details of my gear and hopefully i'll have a liveset prepared by the end of august. i'm searching for a couple fx processors to spice it up, i'm thinking korg kp-3 mini or some alesis modfx or both. other than that, i just have to sort some banks in my sampler and make some more midi sequences.
6. i'm planning to make an STFU event in athens, a couple of venues have shown interest already and i'm searching for funding. if you feel like coming to greece in early 2008, drop a line in the 'STFU Athens' topic at link

8. i participated in a quarterly called "vague terrain", there was a blog about it some time ago ( link ). my submission isn't anything groundbreaking, just easy hip-hopey tunes made with my sampler, old records and a free monophonic softsynth (rgc audio triangle II). it's here: link

I'll be keeping an eye on STFU Athens, for sure.
PS I had a quick shot of the new KP3 mini and they are great fun.
