--> I discover em411 about five or six years ago, since then it become my favorite reading.
Everyday when im at work its the first thing i do, open my browsers and check all the blog post and threads in the forum section.
I learn a lot with em, i discover may types of music, strange instruments, weird software and many more things, i have also find new friends (this sounds a bit lame).
I enjoy the blog section, because theres always something new from the hard core members (like jdg, astroid, fredo, ejectorset and many others that i cant remember right now),i read and have a few laughs or discover something new, i don't post as much as i like, but thats me .
The open mind of this forum as always catch my interest, everything is fresh with no mind barriers, we can talk about the stupidest thing and not loosing site of what really matters (music).
Ive found many words of advise here, equipment choices, software integration etc..
When im thinking of buying something i always com to em first to listen to opinions and share point of views.
Thank you all

I very much enjoyed reading this blog.

you know, you can't say you like the fact that all the old posts have been deleted.

True. I am a beginner and I am already getting lost of good advise on how to start.

i totally feel the same way about this site. it is exceptional to look back over years worth of coming here daily and realize just how high (low? - whichever means good) the signal to noise ratio has been consistantly.

i am totally flattered to be listed up there with fredo, astroid and jdg.

i too mourn the old posts being deleted. mostly the original tips & tricks forum posts from way back when. oh the old reviews too, somebody had the best review i have ever read it was about either a monomachine or machinedrum. it was awesome.

yeah, awesome site... good and bad things about it, of course, but I haven't found any other site with such a great community, and such (sometimes) intelligent discussions, haha.

and i like how there aren't annoying "signatures" with animated gifs and smiley emoticons all over the place like a lot of forums.

you all suck. get over it. not me tho, i'm great. just you guys.
