--> I just powered up my new Analogue Solutions SEMblance module today, which I had left with a real nice patch dialed in, and poof.... now it just makes clicks and popping noises. When I first got it I had issues with pitch tracking , and after writing several emails to the salesperson I got answers like "its just the way analog is" (you moron)... now just deal with the fact that the thing cant stay in tune if you go more than one octave away from your starting point. So I adjusted to this reality... and now I cant even get a single sound on it... I BETTER NOT get a condescending reply on this... about checking lfo's or what have you.
The thing has a nice sound, but man... very high maintenance so far. Ive had it for about 3 months and already repairs needed????
Anyway... just had to vent ;-)
Noticed the company who sold it to me has my email blocked or something like that. For some strange reason I could not send them an email... but contacted the manufacturer. It better work out well...
Just seeing hundreds of dollar bills swirling around in a wirlpool... being flushed away... noooooo !

that's a drag. i just read thru your other blog about the pitch tracking. kind of sad as i name dropped this synth in a blog or two recently and it does seem to have a great sound from the samples i've heard. AS is a small boutique company I can't imagine they can afford to let you go away unhappy. be tenacious. make them send you a new one or something.. how long is the warranty? 1 year? also, i'f you feel you've been mistreated by the dealer i'd let the manufacturer know that too.

i know what it's like to go back/forth (no poop jokes jdg) w/a manufacturer about repairs. i went thru a 6 month (or was it 8?) ordeal this year w/a piece of gear. not fun.

hi,
a.sol. has some quality control issues. and then i hear that maintenance is poor.
be careful and diplomatic in your dealings, as it seems like dealing with a.sol vary in effectiveness.
