its still funny

I swing the Mic violently like a lightsaber directly in front of the monitor while a Ringmod effect with overdrive is inserted on the Mic channel. It sounds like angry goblins on Cialis.

lol, RR.

analog, good tech

i scream, breath, grunt...into my heavily distorted cb mic.

I jump back, touch myself.

i dont want to miss a thing link

hehehahaheeeheee

LOLOLOL
dood, you gotta get that instrument into an isolation booth, yer gonna get too many reverberant frequencies off those hardwoods causing it to sound "brite".
hah i got a very fitting email today (its from a label who's including one of my songs on a compilation):

Hi Michael,
Not sure if it was intentional or not, but the recording has a pretty loud noise floor, and it sounds as if it is contributed to by your recording environment. It really stands out on my studio monitors, but admittedly, it's not as noticeable on other speakers..........

thats the best review i've ever gotten, and if someone from that label is reading this..i love you

hehehahaheeeheee x2

Noise floor technique for above: Just keep chaining 20 foot XLR extensions until you have to turn your pre-amp up to +40db to barely hear it.

to the label: Its better to get too much sound from your noise floor in your recordings than it is to get sound from your noise ceiling.

I'm obviously missing something here...

[not with the label, Re: Mic Techniques]

don't swallow it, because then when you get to the emergency room they'll never believe you - "well.... i'm an electronic musician..."

It's on that "Chocolate Rain" video on youtube.
Sorry for the in-joke ting, but it made me laugh...
