Yesterday I handed in my thesis for my sound design masters. Phew. It was an interactive sound installation that tracked the location of a listener and changed the sound according to their movement.
You can see the project website with video and audio and max patches and stuff stuff stuff:

Checked it out a bit, I'm positive it's way over my head but looks like a fun project!

It seems amazing to me. Really inspiring stuff. And I love the sound of your piano. Is that your touch? Bell-like and delicate. Quite moving work. Hearty congrats from NYC.

thanks guys! I'm glad you liked it.
The piano is indeed my touch, fredo, i'm glad you like it. I recorded many different layers of piano at different distances and locations, and mixed them all around in quadrophonic based on the location of the listener. Being inside made you surrounded by little piano chirps and long sustained chords, sometimes pitch shifted or glitchily edited. it was my favorite part of the project, i think.

congrats populus! what do you plan on doing now? does a masters in sound design really help job-wise or was it mainly for learning and personal knowledge or what? the reason i ask is i've never heard of a masters in sound design. sounds very interesting and fun!
