--> Hi emers all.

Just wanted to write about how totally amazing this new Deltasleep album is, because I guess I missed the time to post on his blog entry when it was on the front page.

Not sure what the name of the album is, (Sound That Can Kill or Cure?) but it is a total feast of chaotic, inspired sound clusters. Sometimes it's beautiful, sometimes ugly-beatiful, always almost unbelievably imaginative and ALWAYS HILARIOUS. The album is also suprisingly well-paced. I mean, you put enough of this kind of stranger than strange, wacked out sound in one place you'd think it would leave the listener tuckered out after four tracks. It's a testament to David's brilliance that this album just sways from one fantastic universe to the other and leaves you craving a new ride each time.

David, if you read this... fantastic sound. Don't you ever give up, man. Someday there will be tons of folks collecting your work.

here's a link to his own blog where there's a link to purchase it. Highly recommended to lovers of adventure, strangeness, devo, air, captain beefheart, white noise, e.l.o., bluegrass music, and all things beautiful!

Thanks for the recommendation fredo!

D-sleep, if you do read this, can I paypal you monies for mp3s of the album? Name your price!

My only disapointment with this album was that David hadnt finished off the package with track titles. I was so looking forward to leftfield, exotic and downright weird strange titles but alas, no.

Everything else is superb - great music. Im going to blast it out now as a matter of fact.

Zanf, the album songs all have very strange names!
Bikini Monsters with Keytars
I Can't Take It
Trailer Park Zombie Welfare Moms
The Hills Are Undead
I Believe in Music
I Just Want to Stay Home
Deaf Now
Hard Luck and Misery
Yours Truly, 2095
Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys
Dig In
Six Days on the Road
Basic Hybrid 209
Blackey

I got an emmail from David stating that none of the tracks had names because he couldnt visualise music like that.

What a lying little toerag! ;)

Mind you, I did get an excellent flyer for some revelations doomsday fire and brimstone stylee seminar.

It is wonderful!!!!!!!

purrchased

I've had mine for a while now, and I'd like to thank Fredo for describing it so wonderfully. I really do love Dave's music, always have. The only thing that would make me happier would be more, so maybe I'll have to start pestering him!

Seriously guys, check his blog out too. It's home to some weird and wonderful stuff (Dave was totally on top of the Indian funk tip before Madlib [Beat Konducta Vol 3&4] was) ... I lurk there often.

Zanf - totally, I love his titles!
lol I made up most of those titles after zanf told me I should- only fredo and one other unidentified australian recieved the version w/titles so far, but I've added it.
And you can paypal me $6 for the mp3s!

also, this blog made me blush. thanks guys!

I was really worried after I didn't hear back anything from almost anybody except tom. I just figured tom was a really nice guy! And I still figure so.
I am working right now on an EP for halloween, of stupid halloween party music. I've only got a short time, so lets hope this goes well!
It'll be free.

You didn't hear back from me because I hadn't received the disc yet. I was working like a lunatic in Marlboro and only just received it three days ago. I listened and penned the blog. You're welcome bud.

and, ps, I'm so excited to have you on my own album release in March of 2008.

Yeah Dave, no doubt you are one of the most creative people I know
your approach to your productions and songs makes me
facinated to the fullest, should we do more tracks together? Hell yes.

david!
