--> ok, so i wrote this blog, submitted it, than it said the pics were too big. well thanks for deleting my text !

The Audiobulb FZ-Bulb is a Analog Fuzz and Bandpass Filter Combo inside a small (2 3/4"x3 1/4") metal enclosure. The FZ-Bulb was a cooperation between RuinElectronics and the Audiobulb Label, to be sold on the audiobulb site. The unit has two knobs (gain and bandpass frequency.), 1/4" ins and outs and a true bypass on/off (bypass) toggle switch. It runs off of a single 9v battery. The unit follows the typical ruin aesthetic of "looks like it was found in a World War 2 bunker".

David at Audiobulb was pretty specific about pretty much only one thing. It had to use a bulb instead of an LED. which is of course, quite fitting.

I hear the expected release is in december. if this is so, be sure to treat yourself to a nice christmas gift!
The price will be fair, the pedal was designed to be an affordable and compact analog effect unit.

I did record some sound samples, but they were recorded before the final prototype was made, so there are some bugs in the sound on those lcips which are fixed in the final version, so i dont want to show those as to not get the wrong impression. mayube david will post some samples if he wants at some point.

i am very proud of these units... and hope that they sell out quick!

I always copy the text of my blogs to clipboard before submitting them - just ensures that what Ive typed isnt lost because of a crappy image being a few bytes over the limit.

looks awesome.
i'm really eager to hear the unit

These are great Psyingo and I can't wait to get my hands on one to explore its character.

I think now is a good time for pedal like this - many artists are into bringing a warm fuzz distortion into their sound.

For audiobulb - this is all about supporting creativity - beyond the creativity of the artist musician. I am working with VSTi designers as well as hardware designers to bring bespoke sound products to the label.

I saw and heard Psy's earlier creations and was impressed and it has been great to work with him to produce these FZ-Bulbs.

If anyone out there has ideas or a contribution they would like me to consider then get in touch.

nice one mang

i have 2 psy boxes. great sound.

his stuff is great at doing things that software does poorly.

looks amazing. This unit is on my list.

those look great

wish i could get one right now!

customer - "i want a custom pedal that does distortion, bandpass, ring mod, tremolo, analog delay, flanger, and reverb."

psyingo - "yeah ok, no problem, i can fit that all into a 2" x 3" box."

customer - "can i have a new, shiny box, one that isnt covered in grease and blood?"

psyingo - "no. take your business elsewhere."
its true, you want new? goto boss. also, fuck off.

Oh man, this looks lovely. Can't wait to hear it psyingo.

And great original step David for Audiobulb, love that you're expanding in ways that are of interest to the musician.
