--> so it appears that demonoid has been shut down.. also you can't search on torrentspy from the US any more. i'm not necessarily condoning juarez or anything.. just bringing this up for discussion.

Yeah looks like their fucking with the torrent peeps now. BTJunkie has had a recent outbreak of fake files containing viruses and such as well. Can't download anything anymore. What's sad is there's a lot of opensource and public domain stuff that'll likely get caught in the shitstorm as most of it is distributed via torrents too. Freakin Juarez crusaders.

hahahah.. perfect song.

yea.. the reason i think torrent sites like that are good is.. (and maybe this is retarded).. but it seems like people would be more likely to support a nobody (like ourselves) by buying an album, if they could get albums of famous/rich people for free. a lot of people i know do this.. they'll download the latest maroon 5 (ugh) or whatever cd, and then buy a cd from a local band.

Here's my theory: Go see your favorite big label bands live and DL their album. I mean it's the musician you want to support not the huge fucking company they have to fight tooth and nail every step of the way to put out good music, right?

If it's an indie act, pay for both!
