--> I can't really afford a machinedrum UW,

but if I buy a non - UW machinedrum, will I deeply regret it, feel 'left out' or lacking?

just wondering, because I know this feeling all too well, but its either a machinedrum (non UW), or some entirely different drum machine..

speaking of which, suggestions for alternatives? has to work well live. . . I was thinking a combination of an ER-1 MKII, and an MBase 01 - what ya think of that?

its like buying real doll without the "bitch and moan about your inadequacies" module. You might be getting a real doll but it will just lie there lifeless where as with the module its almost like a real GF.

the sh-32 isnt exactly a 'drum machine' it just has a few samples in it.
