--> I'm very proud to say that I finished the first entire release of my whole life, and its released for sale tomorrow.

Now, admittedly, I didnt play any of it, perform on it or even appear in the recordings, but I DID record it, mix it, master it (as best i could for each of those things) and make a record company to release it, so I still feel proud.

Anyway, it's called 'How Many Bosses Must I Face?' by Super Eight Shoes and it features 6 tracks of picky guitars, reel to reel recordings and some pretty nice soulful singing. Oh yeah, and a Snoop cover, obviously.

Theres a couple of tracks on the act's myspace here: link ,and I'll be mail ordering cds from the record company's (ramshackle excuse for a) website here: link

I'm excited just to have something finished and to have a giant box of CDs with my label's name on sitting in my office!

kewl.. is it about mega man or something?

I think the title is an Aqua Teen Hunger Force reference, but I dont exactly know what that is apart form being a tv something or other. The guy who wrote and sung it all loves a bit of oldschool Nintendo gaming so I'm sure thats something to do with it too...

when I first read "How Many Bosses Must I Face" I thought of office space, I must confess. but I really love it as a videogame refrence.

i thought of it as a roland boss, i quite like the idea of someone exclusively performing with a bunch of roland boss gear.

congrats though.

Kevin Arnold had a band called 'Electric Shoes'. It got between him and Winnie.

ahah wonder years. golden.

dude. just curious. did you have to pay royalties for the cover. like HFA or direct? congrats on mmmuusic release!
i.. so;rry. buzzkill question 2? did they sign a contract with you or whatnot?
also, the video of recording on the myspace page is awesome. i just got my first
reel-to-reel. but your artists' video is intersting...

Tuna; yeah, we have to pay a licence fee collection agency, but we have to do that anyway for the ringtones that my company sells, so its easy enough. Didnt do a formal contract with this guy cos he's a very good friend and we've done work before...but for anyone else I would, yeah

congrats, man, hope it'll work out right

i thought this was about a video game. sigh...

cute cover artwork

Sorry Soundhdack!

Everyone else, thanks a lot!

i love that evil ewok on the cover
