Alright, well I applied to Portland State University about three weeks ago, and I received the acceptance letter today. I'm pretty excited, wait let me rephrase that: WWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Yeah, the nice thing is now I have that off my shoulders. I can focus on the other shit I need to do, graduation project etc. Plus its still early on, and I plan on applying to more colleges. But yeah, Portland, epic.

I'm taking a class at PSU right now.
Did you choose portland because it's the furthest you can get from PA?

I think you mean, crack open the CELEBRATION patcholi.
It would be gauche to use the regular patcholi, or, gasp!, patcholi designated for a different occasion, such as the graduation patcholi, birthday patcholi, coffee-time-patcholi, christmas-patcholi or the natural-disaster-patcholi.
As a brit, its understandable you'd make such an error in proper etiquette.

man, is there anyone on em411 who ISN'T planning on moving here???? Except for you, zanf.
But, that's rad, I did some grad school and portland state, it has some pretty far out / cool / stoned faculty, and its setting can't be beat.

Didn't school already start? Kids these days, always late for stuff, and never wearing the proper patcholi.

Roshi: yeah, Portland's distance from PA had something to do with it. I always thought the idea of college was to put yourself out of your comfort zone(s) and experience something completely new.
I'm currently set for the Fall 2008 semester, can't wait.

lowlifi is in SF, not berkely. but he tells me he's thinking about moving to PDX too, lol.
I'll be in Portland this weekend, I'll let you know what I think, and whether I want to move there. I've never lived any place that anybody wants to live in, lol.
