--> Great fuckin news! I just found out the roof in my room leaks profusely. I got an M-Audio O2, a Yamaha AN-200, and a Behringer Modulizer Pro all waterlogged. What's worse is they were all plugged in, but none were powered on. I drained what water I could and set em out the way to dry. Any idea if anything will still function once dry?

*:UPDATE:*

Ok so the damage was minimal. The O2 is dead. Will not even power up at all. Everything else seems fine. Thank you synth gods for sparing my little yammerhammer.

get a blow dryer on that shit! there is a chance it will still work, just make sure it's totally dry before you power up. you don't want a tiny water droplet to arc any IC pins. also, the quicker you dry it, the less time there is for anything to oxidize.

!!!!!!!!!! what he said

EXACTLY!
DO EXACTLY what jarvis said. open it up and blow dry it. that is... if you want your gear to work.

Well I took the dryer to it all like you guys said. Bitch is I figure it's all been laying in there soaked all day long. I was out all day and didn't find out until tonight. It sucks being this pissed off and no one to blame it on.

Sue someone!

serously

Oh no!

That's one of my worst nightmares. Sorry to hear about it, hope your gear works!

that blows. i spilled a big glass of water on a mackie mixer once. drained it dried it and it worked fine a few days later.

i watched lara accidently pour an entire glass of water into her arp once lol ... but it had no effect
I'm still too afraid to power any of it up.

umm this may be too creative, but dry rice will suck the moisture out of anything...

so................................................. how'd it go?

glad it wasn't all a total loss, but it still sucks that there were casualties. try another power supply on the O2.... maybe you might get lucky

if it were the power supply, it'd still be powerable via USB perhaps? Which I'm guessing he already tried.

I don't suppose the O2 has any sort of fuse on it (or inside of it)... I'd crack it open and see if you can see a fuse. These are easy to replace
just look for something like this
link

I dont know if USB power would bypass the power supply fuse.
