--> Hi all,

So I was checking imdb to see if The Education of Charlie Banks had gotten more specific distribution details, when I read a post that there is now a website and full trailer.

The trailer makes really strong use of the song, and the cast is really great in this movie. Here's a link for any who are interested: link

yeah, the song fits nicely. good going, fredo!

looks like a good film. well put together trailer. fred durst? the limp bizkit guy? i didn't know he had it in him.

yeah, pretty surprising for me as well. I had to see the film before agreeing to license based on his reputation. But the film is very moving and honest, so I said yeah.

killer! i forgot about the fred durst connection, too. looks like a rather compelling film.

your music worked wonderfully in that part of the trailer, too.

The film looks decent, I would like to see it. I am amazed that Durst is directing. Congrats, Fredo.

It does look compelling. When will the film be released theatrically? And do you realize they used your music on the site as well?

lol

that looked promising, and I got real case of severe goosebumps when your song came in

i sure would have bet a lot of money that you would never collaborate with Limp Bizkit > still its a strange world!

your clip works great Fredo - nice and loud too - uplifting

congrats
awesome man. Congratulations.

This could be your Good Will Hunting.

^Just stay away from sharp objects if it is - Elliott Smith was a genius, but he sure picked a sucky way to kick it

congratulations.

the "film by fred durst" part made me WTF, but it looked good up til that point (and after that point, but at that exact point, it was like what?!) so i'll keep an open mind.

hey what was that movie you told us about on here awhile ago, i think it had affleck in it maybe?
they were looking to/had used sad song for the soundtrack (maybe in movie too) and you were reworking the video to include stuff from the movie, and that was going to hopefully be on the dvd? i remember wanting to check that out.

yeah, the film was called Man About Town and, number one, it never got theatrical distribution, and number two, after all that work on the video they didn't use it. But I guess that's a good thing, I wasn't too thrilled with the idea of making a video for them using shots of teh Affleck in imitation of my other video. It was quite a challenge, and I think the video came out well actually, I feel proud of it. But thankful that my song was associated with that video.

I don't think this is going to be anything like the Gus Van Sant film. Not that the film isn't quality, because it is. I really liked it. But it has EXTREMELY limited distribution and then straight to cable and dvd it goes.

ah, well sounds like that worked out well then. congrats again. it did seem like it would be weird to see that video (sad song) reworked in such a way.

this movie looks good and i like john ritter's son. looking forward to it.

nice to hear fredo sad song on that. good fit for the feeling of film. congrats and looking forward to seeing the flimz

I would be really proud to have a song in a movie and in particular in a trailer cause i love them. making trailers is probably an art by itself.
Congratulations! Moreover this movie seems to be cool.
