BR'ER - OF SHEMALES AND KISSABOOS (BIMr04 CD)
Of Shemales and Kissaboos is the first album by the collective known as br'er. Recorded with various people and lineups, the foundation of this album is held by Benjamin Schurr and Christian Mirande. Ben and Christian started recording the album in late 2006 with the intention of finishing a bunch of songs that Ben had for a few years, Ben set up a studio in his south philly house in feb 2007, which 2 months later became uninhabitable due to dust and mold, so a good deal of this record was while Ben was homeless and as a result was recorded in 7 different houses with the mindset, "set up equipment, record for a few hours find a new place to live" and was mixed in various crowded living rooms, trains, and the wonderful house of four girls who Ben met in a park who let him live in their cat pissed stained common room. This album is for Ashley Wolf.
