--> I was changing up my google homeoage when I came across the NASA photo of the day feature, which eventually led me to to NIX or NASA Image Exchange ( link ). It's a dope site that allows you to search through NASA's archived imagery through the years. There are some great vintage Astronaut photos to be had there. The images attached to this blog are a desktop I made from a few images and some other cool photos from there.

This is easily one of my new favorite sites!

cool, but a lot of the images are disapointingly small

Yeah, some manipulation is required if you want to use them for print and other things.

very dope. i wish they left out the artist's concepts tho

For space suits and such I like that there are artist's concepts, but sometimes you think you are getting an awesome pic of space and it turns out it's a painting.

Regarding photo size--on many of them you can drill down to "Details" pages that have big juicy tif versions.
