Hi emers,
First of all, I apologize for the shameless self-promotion. But that's an important part of the internet's power, right?
Just wanted to let the French folk here on em411 know that my label released my very first ep in France this monday. It's available for digital download, and later in the month will be available on vinyl (although not totally sure if it's just promotional or for actual sale. I have seen the cover though and it looks really pretty!)
The first ep is composed of three songs and three remixes. The songs:
The Sad Song
Hogwash
Ether
Remixers are:
Tunng
Prins Thomas
Roland Appel
But the really cool thing is the label made this little mini-site application that you can embed in your myspace or blog page. It shows my sad song video in supersmall size (but it looks pretty dern good to me!) and enters you into a contest to win a digital camera (valued at 150 eur). I think the winner is the one who gets the most hits their app. (SHAMELESS, AIN'T IT?!!!)

To any of the emers who remember when I first released these songs, Sad Song and Ether haven't really changed, although they were nicely mastered. But Hogwash has been absolutely refurbished! I recorded with live musicians, replacin all the midi drums and harp and flute, etc... I'm quite proud of how this ultra-oddball song came out.
Yay! My first release! In January the same will be done in the UK. Then hopefully the US will follow suit, but I don't have an interested label at this point.

hey, guys! Thanks a lot! Steve, that was super cool of you.
Yeah, the Sad Song video has done quite a lot for me in my life. I just finished another one for my song The Turn which I will be releasing probably in a couple months. I'm going to ask my label if I can post a sneak peak up here.
Anyway, very excited am I. Thanks for all of your support!
