its quite hard work to do
-chop samples into small enough pieces
-lug my sampler over to this room
-sample sounds, save on disk, sample more, save on disk....i think 4 disks worth is full memory capacity
-lug sampler back to studio/bedroom
-plug in sequencer
-edit sample lengths/loops
-save them all again
-plug in midi trigger
-program a patch(actually itd be far better to write several that itll switch between) using a fucking alpha wheel
-plug in mixer+all the cables
-plug in cd recorder (and hope it works this time)
-press record, set the shit in motion
-etc and stuff
oh no ive just wasted my effort writing this instead
ive got other music stuff i should be doing (ive got a gig on the 24th and possibly another in january)
im soooooo lazy/weak
itd probably sound good though

cc- are you seriously suggesting i cheat and play a prerecorded cd instead of a real live set?
my gig on the 24th is pretty much a rerun of my last gig but ive still got to tweak it a bit and the possible gig in january needs to be dancefloor material so i dont think mixit chaos would work well
whatve i got- 3 weeks?
