Well, a little while ago I hinted that I had an opportunity to write a music column for a Toronto-centric blog. Well, it's official now. My first article (The Secret Life of Christine Bougie) got published today by blogTO.com.
I'm pretty happy about this, because I spend all my spare time lately trying to get people to read what I write, and having an established site where people actually come with an interest in what I'm writing about helps. It'll likely also help with the signal:noise ratio at em411 as well. ;)
Anyway, the focus of the column is anything to do with live music in Toronto. So, I could conceivably write about anyone playing any kind of music in any venue in town (I like to keep my options open). It'll also cover any new releases by Toronto-based artists.
