When I get a MacBook, I will definitely upgrade to this. Multicore + multiprocessor support!

new features? why nothing at ableton's site?

yeah.. there's nothingon ableton's site. i think the new feature should be "now w/o bugs!"

if it ends with an even number, it's going to be buggy.

All I get is: "This page is not available in your language, sorry. "

Found it anyway.

Ha! Won't happen. I was pretty pissed about how they changed the transport controls in 5. It's completely unintuitive where a composition is going to start in arrange view.

I can't wait to have the ability to add DIRT! Right now I have to shovel dirt into the super drive!
so they added multi-proc support, copy/paste of warp markers, and quicktime movies?
And this is an entirely new version.

Wow.

seems kinda lite on 'oh wow thats hot' kinda stuff. seems more like live 5.5 or something, although the warp marker stuff and this 'warp to video' sounds interesting.

if this really is the new features they should make the upgrade very cheep or free. otherwise its just going to be ppl that have to get it because of some job there doing.

maybe this is all an elaborate skam to get us to buy protools mpowered instead.

did a little looking around,
i think there will be more stuff when they actaully release the beta and then when they release the actual product, in october or something.

and whats this universal instument library? maybe like soundfonts?

They should have fixed the many, many issues, instead of adding bloody video support. shit. Byebye ableton, you've finally gone down that "bloated with useless crap" road.

Recording automation into clips? Oh I hope it'll be there... The rest seems neat but not revolutionary. The movie stuff is nice though, I hope you can see the frames in the sequencer... The flatten is nice, the multi-destination midi is nice, things that will really streamline the workflow, i think.

ableton site got updated
