--> Before Christmas I booked myself in with my agency to work five nights in a row from Dec 26th (today), ending NYE morning so i can get mashed to see the new year in... A waking night kills me. It's deadly boring: sat on reception in a quiet homeless hostel, just in case the fire alarm goes off. But i get time to write lots of music on my laptop. And lou's got lots of uni work to do so i can even type that up for her.

So 5 nights = 50 hours, ie, Ł500 before tax. That'll be great for our (unpaid) artists' residency in Düsseldorf in January.

Except i got to work today at 9:30pm, having slept all day, to find i'd been double booked. Despite me agreeing to these shifts 3 weeks ago (i won't normally touch a waking night), two days ago the rota was changed and i was taken off without being informed.

So now i'm skint for dussledorf and new year's eve. And i'm not sleepy as i've slept all day. And i'm really fucking pissed off at these cunts for fucking up my new year. And i'm anxious cos i've got to talk to my agency in the morning and give them a piece of my mind and try to get some more shifts.
