--> my daughter has an english assignment, and she needs a "voiceover" to start her presentation off. i was going to help her but my english is embarrasing, i dont want her to take that to school, hah.

it would be just lovely if one of you englishtalkers, could please take the short little time it takes to read these few lines and mail them to me? no fancy setup, internal laptop-mic is fine, just read:

HI SARAH, THIS IS YOUR BOSS CALLING. I HAVE AN ASSIGNMENT FOR YOU. YOU ARE GOING TO WRITE AN ARTICLE ABOUT WORLD ENGLISHES. YOU ARE GOING TO TRAVEL TO INDIA, AFRICA AND AUSTRALIA, TO DO SOME RESEARCH ABOUT THESE THREE VARIATIONS OF ENGLISH. HAVE A PLEASANT JOURNEY, AND GOOD LUCK!

please, please, please?

I will do this the moment I get home.
word is bond.

Isn't your daughter a little young for you to be making her work at a job that requires her to travel to all these places?
I mean, Australia? That island has poisonous snakes, crocodiles, and australians!

yeah and the first two are predictible and avoidible!

great! super! whoo!

well, youre probably right mlbot, but they pay really well and i definitely need the cash after buying that gibson guitar.

thanks bubs

i mean, thanks, unless, of course, by "home" you mean a place you will go in four months! thanks, if home is a place you will go like today.

like in 7 hours or so.

should I make it sound like a phone? or a radio transmission?

You should make it sound like Homer Simpson imitating Mr Burns.
i have an old bbc record of various folks around the world speaking english and thier accents... weird record

if you want an excellent collection of english accents and dialects: link

Prugs, are you sure about the line: "WRITE AN ARTICLE ABOUT WORLD ENGLISHES."?

Ill fire up my mic and do this for you now so she has a very quaint laanduhn accent recording! ;)

done! check your emmail.

Zanf: while a bit akward, English can be used as a noun and thus can be made plural, according to dictionary.com

I had to go check, though. That line seemed akward to me, too.

Still, I dont see why Sarah's boss has to yell at her.

BLEEN WON!!! ta daaaaaaa! thanks you so much all of you for interest in parttaking in this heavenly ordeal. sorry i am writing strange things but i am reading a strange book for the time being; extremely loud and incredibly close by jonathan safran foer. does strange things to me.

love.

Done and sent.

bah - beat by the lighty fart master.
