--> Tonight I'm on a waking night shift at the hostel. I finish at 6am tomorrow. Then I'll drive home and have about half an hour before the cab comes to take us to the airport, flying to dusseldorf.

Me and Louise are going on an Artist's residency (a first time for both of us) at a place called "Artol". It's near Dusseldorf, in buildings in the grounds of a mental institute. We get free food and accomodation and a studio space to make our work.

My plan is to wander about the grounds and the woodland nearby with my H4 recorder and camera. I'm also working on some short stories so might do some of that. Plus I've just sampled half my mp3 collection and now have some nice grubby samples of Arthur Russel, Bob MArley, Booker t and the MGs and some early 90s hardcore/rave stuff. So i'll be writing lots of tunes.

I can't wait!
