Hello all,
Over the past few months I've been working a lot on the next version of my Wii music software (and playing in a panto in Dundee, but that's another story). I'm happy to say it's nearly done, and I've made the first of a series of videos showing it off:

Check it out, and let me know what you think. It should be finished and ready for release in a couple of weeks.
also, Mark, I stole some of your photos for the header, but i put your name down in the footer. let me know if that's not cool.

How did the panto go? What show was it? How was Dundee?

dope! i wish i had OSX.
"I am hoping to raise enough interest and funding over the next few months to create a Windows version of my software"
would it be easier to make a linux version?

thanks for all the support and nice words!
i'd love to get those other photos off you, mark...and the panto in Dundee was a trip. it was Jack and the Beanstalk at the Dundee Rep Theatre. I had never even heard of panto before, but somehow i landed a very cushy well-paid gig for seven weeks with really great actors, and fantastic director, awesome sets, and pretty good music. I was playing piano, guitar, trumpet, bass, and triggering samples on my laptop. i'm glad to be done with it now, after 49 shows it got a bit repetitive, but it was a good experience and put some money in my pocket to boot.
not sure i would want to live in dundee, tho...
delete - i have no idea what it's like to develop for linux, i imagine it might be easier in some ways. Most pressingly I'll need to get away from making it in max/msp, which doesn't exist for linux (yet), and is a generally clunky way to make standalone applications. if i can find enough funding and support i could hire people to do all of the things i don't know how to do! so that's why i'm trying to spread the word.
thanks sam, and don't worry about the guitar, i felt cool just holding it.
