Going to the ArToll residency link last week has given me a proper kick up the oyster. I'm thrilled to be creating things and having opportunities. Whereas with music the step up is pretty high - your main option for making a living is just getting signed as far as i can see - Artists and Fiction writers have more small targets to aim for. so it seems to me. like lots of magazines take unsolicited short story submissions. Loads of galleries and unis offer residency programs to visual and sound artists.
So, yeah, i've been busy since.
1) Started a live journal ting to consolidate all my creative output into one blog: link you can read here about what i did at ArToll and what i'm up to in general.
2) Uploaded new Analog tunes to my myspace link , for the first time in (getting on for) a year.
3) Got a review off Julian Cope, of all people, for Blood Moon (my band with my girlfriend lou) and uploaded some new bizzle to that myspace too link
irons in't fire and all that...
