I've spent the last three months with only one leg while I recover from the break Roshi described here:

I wanted to let you all know that I'm through the worst of it and should be walking (with assistance) within the next two or three weeks! This horrible experience is almost behind me! I'm finally putting some weight on the bum leg, and so far it's holding up well. X-rays show some, although not much, growth around the fractures; however nothing encourages healing like use.
I'll be using a crutch or cane for a few months, as it will take as long as another year for it to heal completely. That's cool, I like canes. Maybe I could get one with a skull for a handle.
Anyway, just wanted to share the good news! Thanks everyone for all of your thoughts / jokes / insults etc. during this hellish thing!

that 'leg wet suit' thing is awesome. glad you are further along on the mend. i was thinking that i should have asked you to save your cast so we could take to that spot outside the restaurant on alberta and nail it to a tree or something. anyway- "don't stop believing!" ;)
