Portland people... we want your videos!

Hey portland people.
so there is going to be another vision+hearing show in February at Holocene. we have great people contributing and it will be awesome. what's even more awesome is that we want other people to contribute too.
the theme is Portland landmarks. we want people to make short videos of their favorite places / things in Portland and upload them to Vimeo.com (with the tag 'pdxlandmarks'). we are going to collect them all and have them projected in the front room at Holocene between bands.
the film makers and musicians that we tapped to perform at the show have begun putting their pieces together. word on the street is that Yellow Swans might be doing something involving the Joan of Arc circle. we have been working with ted (roshi/ooh-ray) on some music that might accompany some super macro footage of the world's smallest park (mill's end on naito pkwy )

Vision+Hearing: Landmarks
a collaborative multimedia portrait of portland
Landmarks, the third event in the Vision+Hearing series, invites a selected
group of musicians and filmmakers to create original audio/visual performances
inspired by Portland landmarks.
The collaborators are:
D. Yellow Swans + Avalon Kalin
Ethan Rose + Jeremy Bird
Unrecognizable Now + Rob Tyler
Very Stereo + Matt McCormick
As an added component of the event, we invite the public to contribute their own
videos of their favorite places in Portland. Submissions will be shown throughout
the evening between performances with musical accompaniment by Linger + Quiet.
We have set up a Vision+Hearing Channel on Vimeo with instructions on submitting
and more information ( link ).

you can say this because jdg lives up in the Frozen Northlands.
otherwise, you'd have to hold this event at the establishment across the street
