just a note to anyone who's interested, I've uploaded a half dozen or so video excerpts from a few past live sets.
link = Winding Rabbit. This is a good one, except the camera angle is very ass-oriented. you can always just minimize the screen and go audio-only. that was a fun night...people buying me shots mid-set, Machinedrum throwing down the dance shortly after my set, surprising friends showing up...a memorable night.
link = 95Headly. This is from a show I did only a couple of weeks ago. this was my set opener, and it's an ensemble from a few years back that I never fully developed. sometimes when I'm getting ready for a show, I'll randomly open an old incomplete machine, jam with it for a few minutes to get slightly re-oriented with it, then you know, decide to open the show with it. makes it exciting. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I think this one had a little of both, so I figured it'd be a fun one to share.
link = the rest of them. the rest have been online for a while, but only as downloadable wmv from various sites. so, now they're easy on the 'tube.
got a show coming up in march, playing with some of the Anticon/CLOUDdEAD folks, of whom I'm a fan (Why?, to be specific), so come on out if you can make it to Virginia. not that there are many VA EM-ers! ah well...
