oh.my.god. this is easily one of the best movies i've seen in a long time
it rules on so many levels it's hard to explain which are the best things about it
-stellar artists
-ingenious dialogues
-great director (i hope he won't marry madonna anytime soon)
-kingsley kills me
-splendid soundtrack
-extremely funny
-etc
-etc
i get off on how he's using the coen-bowling cam for the boulder or the floating figures cunningham has introduced in his portishead video
i'll pick up the dvd as soon as i see it somewhere
watch.it. highly recommended!

i've seen the flick, few years back. I enjoyed Kingsley, for sure. I'm willing to be convinced that it's otherwise a great movie.

man, Ray Winstone, that guy can be really really scary. I always think of him in that grisly movie Gary Oldman directed in the 90s (Nil by Mouth?), or as the dad who molests his daughter in The War Zone. Jesus, terrifying.

hey that's actually been censored. It's supposed to be 89 minutes long but clocks in at 84 minutes on this version.
