I finally had the Panmixia album "Invisible Friend" mastered by jdg @ panicStudios earlier this week. Geoff Richards (electric blanket) and I have been working on this project for 5 years, and it's finally finished!!!! Here's a link to a zip of the album in mp3, encoded @ 320 so it's high quality. All instruments/electronics were played by Geoff or I, except for the violin on track 7 and the drums on track 1. I'm in the process of making the website, and this will be another free mp3 on Optic Echo Records. Hope you enjoy!!!

Reminds me a lot of the great pork recordings CDs of the 90's - lots of good variation but definitely a common thread

steve- yeah, that show is for christopher's b-day (from pi-rem and on air). I'm going to dj as well. Other than the weekly radio shows, I haven't played out since the last Aleatoric I think.
ted- dude, I fucking love pork! Thanks, that's a compliment.
I'm honestly glad the project is all done with! Now there's no reason to go over it again to work on levels or fix the little thing on that track when I heard it in my car, or whatever. I can fully focus now on this compilation working with a different artist for each track.
Oh, and jdg, I should practically list you another artist for the album. Your mastering was phenomenal, and took the tracks "out of the box".

Unfortunately, the link got fucked up. As you can see, the latter part of the path got separated from the rest of the link. Or was that your intent? Regardless, thanks for sharing. I'm downloading right now.

Not really an em411 regular so I just sort of stumbled across this and downloaded it last night. But I like it, especially the more ambienty tracks towards the end are really sweet. A keeper, definitely.
