Ah yes, so many wonderful seasonal beers this past fall & winter of 2007. I wish I could have tried more of them. I also really wanted to write down all the ones I had the pleasure of tasting, but unfortunately I only found a few of the scrambled notes I kept regarding my opinion on the pumpkin ales as well as the winter brews.
The 2 Pumpkin ales that I LOVED this past harvest was:
CBC great pumpkin ale (which never lets me down. always a favorite.)
Dogfish Punkin Ale (Which I manged to get 1 single 4 pack of and never saw it again in the store).
So far, these are my favorite winter brews that I've tried on tap. I've listed it in order starting with my favorite and ending with least favorite. feel free to add to it especially if there are some good winter brews that I've not heard of yet. I've tried many more than what is on this list, but I just cant remember what they were.
Long trail - hibernator
Southern tier old man winter ale
Smuttynose - winter ale
Sam addams - winter ale
Blue moon "full moon" winter ale
Cheers! : )

Totally! I always love a good dogfish 60 or 90 during any time of the year as well.

I also gotta give CBC some bonus points for the Tall tale pale ale (even though it's not a seasonal brew).
