I see no beauty
in vain senseless destruction
suck a nut, rock star.
yeah I wrote that about 5 seconds ago. thought it was pretty good.
anyways.
me and janette were in a huge parking garage. I don't think she was pregnant, because it was a non-linear dream. Like a Gi-joe cartoon, where the characters are just there, with no effect from previous stories. But yeah the parking garage/abandoned mall was really creepy. there was a vagrant about somewhere but he posed no serious threat, but it was dark and we wanted the hell out of there. creepy as hell. I think we were on the roof of said parking garage at one point. the sky was dark gray. very concrete. brown concrete. I find some kind of exit and the stairs suddenly get super steep and drop straight down into some bushes. the first thing I see to my left is a police station. like the one you might see in batman or dicktracy. We walk along and the buildings are so close together and so tall you can't see the sky. there may have been overhangs preventing this. eventually it turns into kind of shopping mall? there are all these stores, and among them are some bars. the bars are filty, but most surfaces seem to be covered in rinstones or mirrors. lots of smoke and red lights. one of the patrons has a old almost 50's looking suit, and it's dark green (what you can see of it is green, most of it is covered in rhinestones. He's a swarthy middle-aged black man. eventually the mood lightens and it just looks like a damn shopping mall. There is a glut of product. stacked 12 ft even. like kbs at christmas.
dystopian mostly. colors were dark/realistic.

whoa.
I had a dream last night:
I was part of a movie... like an old pink panther thing but I was witness (via the second hand insignificant character) to the whole thing. The main character who was a very Cluso like fella and was bumbling after this treasure which he had to get after in a way that was very "American-Reality-TVish"... all these boobie traps with conveyor belts and chain saws and blades and such... and the guy who was supposed to be his buddy and helping him ended up being in for his own good and used this Cluso-esque fella to get him in there and then took off with the treasure as soon as he got in and skipped straight out. He then came back after years and befriended Cluso-esque and Cluso-esque was nice to him which I thought was odd b/c of how much he got fucked over in the whole ordeal. Hi ho.
There were also those hanging zip-fly things which you had to jump from one to another or else you'd fall into deep water (albeit a swimming pool, it was still a long way down!!!)

nice blog. all dreams are non-linear. our perception of them in waking life is usually translated in terms we understand (linear time).
i like to read people's dreams, apparently. that was fun...

i rarely ever remember my dreams. it upsets me, makes me sad. i have no doubt that i dream when i sleep because my girlfriend always makes fun of me for mumbling in my sleep, but i really wish i could actually remember what it was i was mumbling about. anyone got any tips for remembering your dreams?

YES!!! YES I DO
As you lay down to sleep, tell yourself to remember your dream when you wake up.
when you wake up, try to walk yourself through the sequence of events in the dream. several times if necessicary.
it'll stay with you then
