--> I'm just curious how many of you in Michigan actually get out and play live shows. Also, if you do where? Not only would I like to join in and do the same but I'd like to see some of your perform.

On another note has anyone heard of link It's a dream come true for me.

I used to live in Detroit but not anymore. I'm back there sometimes during the summer. A really cool place in downtown is the Fi-Nite Gallery, right near the old tiger stadium...I saw Tadd Mullinix there once and a bunch of other cool DJs. Not too much art inside but a decent amount of cool contemporary shit.

mitten people

smitten mitten people. i am from detroit. fi nite is nice. apparently edmx aka dmx krew performed there, but i had to miss it

dmx krew kick ass

the only place i ever felt in tune with was northern michigan
get to the upper part of the mitten, and the entire upper peninsula

yeah detroit rocks of course but northern mi and the upper peninsula are beautiful - when i said i was from detroit haha i am actually referring to somewhere that is about a 45 min car drive north. but i go to school in the 'd' so sometimes i just say i am from detroit - i guess i should say i am from near detroit. or maybe i should say i live in the sticks.

i'm from the upper peninsula & its boring as hell, unless you ilke to snowmobile, kill animals, fish & birds or drink a lot.
culturally, its a desert. i moved down here a long time ago. i live in ypsilanti township, only a few miles from where techno was invented.
i dont do shows.

glad you were able to step in and sum up northern michigan
...
oh wait, the whole world doesnt share your personal experiances.

that's just MY perspective, offered as yours were.

the whole world doesn't share your personal experiences either.
yet apparently you are the only one entitled to an opinion.

of course a man who was born and raised in the u.p.until late my 20's
knows nothing about the place.(this is sarcasm, in case you don't recognize it.)
if you like it so much, go move there.
