live is okay for making progressive music

good to know.

in the first live when you use the time stretch on a loop it had these cool glitches. in the new version there are still glitch sounds but not good ones. what happen there cbit?

i do like live cause its easier to use than cubase, logic, and protools. but maybe in a few years they will fix all the sloopy redundant crap in live. and give it more vst compatibility. the software claims to be good for "freeform/realtime" music, but i find it to be far it. i'd prefer something dependable to do my live shows(maxmsp or peak, or even cubase but not the shitty OSX versions) i got to admit that the little splash screen you get when live loads is adorable. i think its their choice of the color green, its more natural and peaceful.

mm dunno, can't say i noticed. did you try all the diff warp modes? (texture, beats and complex are the ones that give you glitchy artifacts). texture mode gives me the gravel i need.

They did update the audio engine in Live 7, which might be why you've noticed fewer audio artifacts, atum.

Looks good cbit. I love sponging every else's Live and Reaktor tips.
