--> i am running a small indie label and focus on selling vinyl and cds.
but i can no longer avoid selling digital music online.

i already have one release available on iTunes and stuff like that (via cdbaby). i also have offers from a big european distro company to get all my other releases on these professional digital distro systems.

but i don't like the idea that anyone else is taking something like 10-30% of my sales.
also, i want to stay more DIY oriented.

so i'm thinking about making my own online mp3 shop and selling the mp3s on my own website.

what i need is:
a system that allows customers to pre-listen to the songs and buy them seperately or in album packages. with payment via paypal and creditcard. customers should receive their music immediately after the money transfer, so i need an automatic system and not a person sitting in front of a computer and sending out mp3s by hand.

i know that there are some shop systems with all these features, but they all cost $$.
i'd rather kinda make my own system or use something open source based, mainly because i have no idea how much money i will earn.

can anyone point me into a direction? any experiences? any useful comments?

thanks a lot!
