soma records' let's go outside remix contest

it just occurred to me that i haven't mentioned this to my local em411 homies. soma records is having a contest to remix a track, "you make me struggle", off my new album, "a picnic with the hunters" (out now shamless plug). the contest is being held through foem, an online community that does these sort of things.
there's some serious talent in portland and i want you to show it! go here...

...read the info and get started (prizes, rules, parts, original track are all there). the contest runs til the end of april.
in addition to a sp-404 and some nice software, the winner will have their remix released on my "you make me struggle" single on soma records *and* i will remix one of *your* original tracks, also to be released by soma.
this is an enormous opportunity. in soma's last remix contest, they picked up two artists for deals that have extended beyond the promised release (i actually just remixed one of them). even if you don't win (eg, your track might not be right for *this* record), entry guarantees that your music will be scrutinized by soma a&r.
win this one, portland! it'd be killer to get a friend from home over doing all this fun junk with me.

of course everyone is welcome. i really just want a nice remix, and portland's a great place to get one. actually, this community as a whole should look into doing more stuff like this. all you guys and gals that are doing more cerebral and experimental stuff will slaughter the run-of-the-mill hard trance and minimal producers that make up most of the submissions in these contests.
