--> somebody asked for mobile/portable/bring on your bike type sound solutions - i cant find the thread, so i am posting in this bblawg.

i have used something from the german company fohhn - their EasyPort line are decent sized active PA-style speakers - they run on rechargeable battery, so you just plug in in the wall, charge it up, and off you go. batterys lasts for a few hours too. sounds good too.

comes in a wide range of variations - one that plays mp3s, one with a mounted car-cd-player, and so on.

That's crazy talk, KQ...300 lb sound systems on a bike...crazy.

I have seen kids in oakland with smaller speaker attached in the frame of the bike and cd players on the handle bars... they also like to put tin foil on their spokes to make them look car rims.
but hey that is the yay area
