If you've never done a Mixit -- here's a rundown:
For a week, users upload samples - voices, noises, instruments, drumbeats, whatever... when the week is up, the samples go 'live' and you have three weeks to make a song out of those samples.

Samples can be run through effects, stretched, mangled, etc... whatever you'd like, provided you ONLY use the samples provided.

It's tons of fun, and at the end, the tracks go "live" and people can comment on each other's Mixit entries, get feedback, etc.

Free MP3s and comments on your music... WOO!
