--> I was happy happy happy to see that my last album reached 1000 downloads on archive.org today.

I know - great artists like the Crazy Frog shift more copies than that in 30 seconds and it's taken me six months, and 1000 downloads is hardly double platinum status, but still - doesn't this mean my album is accredited as having gone belly button fluff or something.

And yes - some one is going to tell me that 1000 downloads includes people who started downloading and then changed their minds or who timed out or who just downloaded 1 track or maybe it's one guy trying to download the thing 1000 times (not unlikely since it's the Internet Archive) but let me have my moment.

In six months someone has thought "Hey this is pretty good, I might have that" 1000 times. And for experimental noise that's not too bad.
